Ten kilometres of white sandy beaches, unspoilt countryside and some of the best windsurfing conditions in Europe have established Tarifa as a true surfers paradise. Just 11 km across the Straits of Gibraltar at its narrowest point, this southern-most tip of Europe where the Med meets the Atlantic Ocean, enjoys spectacular views of the Rif mountains of Africa across the water.

Tarifa's wild coastline attracts surfers and nature-lovers alike. Just as famous for its birdwatching as its surfing, there are endless opportunities to explore the rolling countryside. Horse-riding, hang-gliding, kitesurfing, rock-climbing and diving to name but a few.

Region

Axis between Europe and Africa and meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, this region has been coveted by many different cultures throughout history and prehistory. The diversity of landscapes and geographical terrain gives rise to an array of environments that go from the heat of the Guadalquivir River valley through to luxuriant mid-mountain areas, volcanic landscapes such as the Tabernas desert, and the snow-capped peaks of Sierra Nevada.

The Guadalquivir is Andalusia’s most important river and brings life to many areas in its journey across the region. In barely forty kilometres you can go from Alpine mountain landscapes to tropical areas on the shores of the Mediterranean. It offers a warm welcome to visitors and, while conscious of the need to modernise and move forward with the times, it is also careful to take care of its roots and maintain its important cultural heritage and monuments, legacy of the region’s ancestors. Andalusia is the main holiday destination for Spanish nationals and one of the principal destinations for overseas tourists.

Your days are not blanketly planned, we just show you opportunities you can join  if you like so. We offer sport activities of all kind, equipment rentals, courses and classes, day trips, accompanied tours, rental cars and much more. We will inform you about all possibilities there are - what you do is your choice. Furthermore we try to fullfill all individual wishes - just let us know what you like to do and we will do our best to make it happen. In the holiday homes (each one for app. 10 people) you will sleep, live, cook and chill together. From that location you can easily reach the beach as well as the city centre. As you see you have a lot of different possibilities to create a vacation as you desire.
